WOW, Deborah – great angle and the clouds are just in the right spot.
So tell me – was the boat actually in the water along with you!!! Looks too cold to be swimming LOL!!!
Deri Dority, 9 months ago
Great angle and a super B&W. You really caught this one perfectly.

Wow. Great dynamics. This image gives me the feeling I have when – flight simming – I push forward the throttle for the takeoff roll. As if I am pushed back in my chair by the forces. This sky really pushes me against the backseat. Half the boat is laying on my desk. That is the magic you do. Not just Abe in a boat. But a man on a mission that is of great importance. A mental experience that has lets me experience 48,000 lb of takeoff trust. Love the bird in the sky.

Great as always, perfectly done….

Ha….Captain Abe-hab hunting the white whale eh? Love the perspective and the shimmer down the side of the boat…love the water droplets too. Wonderful sky! Were the goodies a bribe to sit still in the boat?

Deborah, I do love the expression on Abe’s face. Wonderful shot. Love the light in the sky especially
shawhouse, 9 months ago
little boy, big dreams – really lovely, Deb. dynamic angle & sky and I love the texture of the side of the boat. Great choice, cutting off the front (the nose, the bow? – the pointy part) – creates movement, gives one the feeling that the boat is bearing down on you. Yo-ho, yo-ho, the pirate’s life – Is that a bag of potato chips?

GREAT shot!

Excellent point-of-view, Deborah. I really love the quality of your black and whites, and this is no exception. Wonderfully composed, with eye first traversing the gunwhale of the boat, to his face and then the bright center of the dynamic sky. Superb contrasts and tonal range. Good work! Cheers! Chris

Abe looks so proud being the captain of the ship! What an incredible image this is Deb, on so many levels. Aside from that adorable expression, I love the angle of the horizon, the mood in the sky, and strong lines of the boat (is it actually in the water?). Brilliant work, as always ;)
