Gorgeous! You are right – kids are the same everywhere. Lovely capture and the B&W suits it well.

Great capture and concept Deb – the lining of the trees brings about a reality/fantasy concept again (It would be interesting if you could have the leaves+- far background in a slightly/desaturated colour to contrast with the detail in the central and very cute subject and the tree). Very nice series developing.

This has to be one of my favourites from your shots. I just love it!! WOW WOW WOW. Its the tree, and the little girl…the contrast, the water…and her expression…i love it. Gorgeous!!!

Nice shot Deb. Love the peek-a-boo of your daughter? in the tree. The background reminds me of the Siouxi and the Banshees video to “Dear Prudence” very atmospheric.

As I said earlier, I think you are a great illusionist. Every illusionist act consists of three parts: The promise, The change and The prestige. Yes, I saw the movie. So does yours:

-The promise: a young girl hiding in a tree.
-The change: wait a minute, this is not just a girl hiding in a tree. It is much more. Look at the light on the tree and the light on the horizon. Look at the leaves on the foreground. This is a vision.
-The prestige: it is me hiding in the tree, and my neighbour and every child ever born on this world.

Love your line of thought. It is a way of looking at life that is repeated again and again by the Daila Lama too.

With your processing, it goes further and it’s now about all of us dreaming back to when we were hiding in trees and playing games.
