The Parkins must live in a visual heaven… what an image… sometimes it’s hard for me to know whether to enjoy a moment or photographic it… (I tend to go for the later) and great you have too, as this is an amzing image to treasure forever!

What a fantastic shot, the use of black and white really gives a sense of displacement. The sky looks as if it is racing away, while only the boy remains static.

This is a very fine shot, with lots of atmosphere.It had to be black and white for this subject. You really have a photographic eye.

funny I missed this, what a great shot – reminds me of a life in front and the boy venturing out unbridelled at first then hesitating as his footsteps show….also see a lighthouse way, way in the distance where the dark clouds hover. there should be a poem to this.
