This is lovely Deb, has a real vintage feel to it! =)

thanks Kelly – when I saw it last night it felt like an Victorian/Edwardian schoolboy photo and that was probably why i was drawn to it. You can probably tell by now that I do like my portraits to feel old/tradional.

This definately has an ‘old world’ feeling about it Deb. The contrast is beautiful and so is Abe. Your work is wonderful.

Quite stunning Deb, and as the lovely ladies above mentioned, very early 1900s feel.

Hi Deborah
I’ve been reading the comments on My Beautiful girl and would like to say that after looking through your potfolio, I think your work is wonderful. I also love black and white photos and you have given me new inspiration to add more to my portfolio. It seems obvious to most of us that art is subjective and some people will love what others don’t (you can’t please evryone all the time!) so stick with what you love – I’m sure you will anyway! (oh and the reason I commented whilst viewing My beautiful boy, is that this is one of my favourites)

Absolutely stunning, you have captured an intrueging expression and the soft texture of the image helps with the traditional approach without feeling cold.

Agree with the Edwardian/Victorian idea. When I saw the thumbnail I thought of painters from that era and their subjects.
AnGeLLe, 7 months ago
I could comment on every one. The way you photograph these children is just beautiful
Nicolas Hall, 6 months ago
This is such a beautiful portrait. .. he seems to be a very old soul. . . or one very connected to the innate knowledge of the world we live in. . .so much in those eyes.
