Well done for photographing a flower past it’s best! I once took a similar image of a Daffodil, and came in for some criticism over why I took a photograph of a dead flower. I see nothing wrong in taking images of plants in all stages of their development. Why keep with perfect fully-developed specimens? Anyway, enough of my rambling….I like it!
