Such a beautiful image, ab, and i love those rich reds and golds… gotta add that IMHO I think the bright blue eyes distract from the fabulousness of the work in this case
yeees carol, i see what you mean. i did struggle a little with how to tackle her eyes and left them till last. i did try a less brighter grey/blue colour, however, i didn’t go with that in the end because the little girl actually has beautiful blue eyes. i also felt that less brighter eyes didn’t suit the overall brightness of the rest of her and the image. i wanted it to be really vibrant overall. oh well, it is what it is now. LOL
