Northern Star
This painting depicts a Gyrfalcon which has his breeding grounds on Arctic coasts and islands of North America, Europe and Asia. It is the largest of all Falcon species and can have a wingspan up to 130 cm or 51 in.

Oh Arie, this is just stunning work! The light, textures and realism is perfect in every way. I love the light from the moonlight and the stars, I can almost feel the coolness of the air.
