Arie, this certainly brings back memories of my early years in Friesland.
This drawig has a typical Dutch atmosphere about it…just stunning realiam.

    (Pity about the road! Sad..)

  • Arie van der W... replied

Ah…you’re from Friesland originally…...very flat over there and with a lot of farmhouses. Thank you for your comment! Groetjes!

Sad to see this old gem gone. But you’ve preserved this for posterity and art., Arie!

Excellent drawing skills – especially on the foliage, which I struggle with, and just revert to watercolour washes!

Arie – this is an amazing drawing. It has been done with such artistry that your mind almost fills the colours in and your imagination starts seeing the leaves moving in the wind.

What a beautifull drawing and congratulations on you feature, Isn’t it a shame. More roads and less beautiful farms/houses. I know Holland is getting over crowded. Take care, Cheers Esther

  • Arie van der W... replied

Thank you Esther, heel aardig van je en bedankt voor de fav!
