A return visit to Little Rocky Glen was put together in the NEPA Photo Friends Facebook group and the attendees included: Marty Straub, Jakub Jasinski, Jim Cook and Alan Peslak.
I took my newly acquired winter climbing and hiking gear just incase, but didn’t need the static rope or crampons. I just used one of my trekking poles and my STABILicers.
Waterflow was great… Ice had formed on the edges of Tunkhannock Creek and on anything just up off the swift currents. With a soft snow on the ground, even the guys just in hiking boots were able to get around without much trouble. (I wonder how it will be after next week’s warm up and maybe freeze the following week)
