There’s a bit of a story behind thisone. Live in Western Sydney, but I love the Blue Mountains and travel up there as often as I can. One Thursday morning I awoke at 4:20am, caught the 4:57am bus to Parramatta, and the 5:58am train from Parramatta to Laptsone, where a friend lives. A little while later we were off to the mountains, and Wentworth Falls was our second stop. I’m not sure of the name of the lookout we were standing on, but it was brilliant – the mist was rolling in the valley like a sea and all I could hear was the sounds of nature (and my shutter). I took many photos, both film and digital, and they turned out well. This is the only digital image that survived, though, as my originals were on my laptop when it was stolen. At least I still have the film.
