    It´s very goodlooking! I have a family of these in my lake, I can hear the chicks constantly calling out, but they keep themselves far out! Very nice shot, as always, AA !!

    Thanks Helua. Our’s like yours normally keep well away but, for once, I found this guy within a few meters of the lake bank.

    I’m wondering about that too. It may be fishing gear or a tag. I’ll report the matter to a groundsman.

    Thanks Mike. For once I found the little guy close to the bank and so I managed several reasonable photos, infact the I’ve taken of him to date. I’ll post a few of the best over the coming days.
