The Devils words

Cry a little harder
maybe someone will hear
Cry a little harder
so all your angst might disappear
Cry a little harder
the worst of life has happened out there
Cry a little harder
so that someone might care
Cry a little harder
so that one day you may rest
Cry a little harder
he’s made you into a mess
Let him force you up the isle
you don’t want to stand by a liars side
Let his force you up the isle
as you heart aches inside
Let him force you up the isle
as you hide the despair from with in
Let him force you up the isle
to think you could’ve used to love him
Let him force you up the isle
as your heart as been stolen
Let him force you up the isle
in his cruel trap you have fallen
Let him waste your life away
with lies and lies and lies
Let him waste your life away
waiting till he dies
Let him waste your life away
as there’s nothing you can do
Let him waste your life away
with your friends and families too
Let him waste your life away
getting completely abused
Let him waste your life away
realising you were used
Ask God for forgiveness
as you suffocate him in the night
Ask God for forgiveness
as he puts up a fight
Ask God for forgiveness
you’ve just killed him
Ask God for forgiveness
it was either you or him
Lie and lie and lie
pretending to morn
Lie and lie and lie
but your hearts not actually torn
Lie and lie and lie
at his grave you begin to pray
lie and lie and lie
wishing you freed yourself another way

These are the devils words which you don’t have to follow
just keep your loving heart from turning bitter and hollow
Don’t abuse a person or take away their rights
and if you are the victim put up a fight
But whichever way you choose to set yourself free
please, please, please listen to me!
Save yourself whichever way you can
try get help from a loving hand
But avoid a haunting past
let whoever the person is last
Because whoever they may be and whatever mistakes they’ve made
the guiltiness of killing will never ever fade

Artist's Description

The thoughts which blossomed into this poem were inspired by one of my many evening CSI’s I like to watch. Ofcoarse I’ve never been through something traumatic enought to tempt me to kill anyone but seeing it happen so much on T.V made me want to spread a messedge of somekind. There is hope, there are more ways to freedom then death. I stand by the messedge in this poem.
