Hiberno-Saxon or Insular Art
Cenedl heb iaith, cenedl heb galon
Based on the Letter Wynn (W) from the Lindisfarne Gospels and other design elements. This was my original idea for a zippered hoodie but I couldn’t find my source material…
Wynn is the Old English word for joy so this is a Celtic/Hiberno-Saxon twist on the Double Happiness symbol of the Chinese.
Thanks to Stephen Whittle for his design advice and feedback.
