Artist's Description

When Howard Carter first uncovered the treasures of the now famous minor ruler Tutankhamun, the tiny wreath of flowers and olive leaves, blue lotus petals and cornflowers placed on his uraeus were still intact, along with a much grander collar with small blue beads on his mummy. Can you see his widow, placing this diminutive offering on her husband’s head as a poignant token of her love and hope for his resurrection?
