Detail of a section of the old bridge over the Shoalhaven River. Originally designed as a railway bridge (oh the irony!) it was built in 1888, making it the oldest bridge in the Shoalhaven.

    I have some old sepia photos (taken when my family must have been holidaying in the area in about 1926) showing the bridge. Not up close but some things have changed…..
