These beauties are called lilac “krasavitsa moskvy” and I was lucky enough to see (and smell) them in bloom at the Berkshire Botanical Garden in May. I’ve never seen double-flowered lilacs and these were truly a treat.

I did basic adjustments inLR5 and Photoshop CC and also added a layer of Topaz Detail to bring out the flowers. I finished with 3 textures from French Kiss Textures – Tableaux Madeleine, Tableaux Mistral, and Dove Wings, at various opacities and blend modes.
