Coming back after very stressful July

Hello Friends,

I’m sorry I’ve been away from RB the last month but our dear Siamese Jazzbeaux had a serious flare-up with his kidney disease and he was in and out of the hospital too many times to count. After losing his younger brother to kidney disease last fall, we were really shaken up at the prospect of losing him too.

He was amazing throughout the entire ordeal – no matter how many painful and unpleasant procedures he was subjected to, he would be purring shortly after. He never seemed traumatized by the whole process, although I can’t say the same for us

A month ago we thought we were going to lose him, but round-the-clock fluids and wonderful, attentive medical care brought him back to us, and we are beyond grateful. Rick and I have learned so much from hi…

Sold Two Cards - Thank You So Much!

I want to thank the person who bought two of my “Abstract Canna Leaf” cards today, and hope you’ll enjoy them.

I don’t do a lot of abstracts so I’m happy that someone liked this one enough to buy two of them!

Thanks,

Anita

Tragedy in Boston - My Heart Aches

It has a rich history as not only the commemoration of the start of the American Revolution, but for the Boston Marathon, where runners of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities from around the world come together to run a storied race that dates back to 1897.

When I turned on my car radio and heard the news of this tragedy, I was overcome with shock and grief, and once I saw those horrific images on TV, the pain and sadness were completely overwhelming. My heart goes out to all of the victims and their families and friends, and my gratitude to the first responders, police, volunteers, and all others who rushed to help knows no bounds. I’m certain their actions…

So glad to be back!

HI All,

This past summer and early fall have been very challenging for me. I was dealing with some health problems that made it difficult for me to take pictures or participate on RedBubble. Fortunately I am feeling much better now.

I’m so sorry I’ve missed out on the beautiful work that all of you have added and I hope to get a chance to explore and comment on your wonderful images.

Thank you to all who came by while I was unavailable, and I hope to be able to be a part of the RedBubble community once again.

Thanks,

Anita
