Morning beckoned as they lay too wonderfully sated in loves embrace to move from the large silk sheeted bed. They had met at seven the previous evening and though a table for two was arranged with candle light, champagne, soft music they had simply looked into each other’s eyes and slipped silently from the foyer into the empty lift. No words were spoken as they gained the privacy of the bedroom where slowly and deftly he had disrobed her
“Seven am.” Garth said switching off the mobile telephone and placeing it on the bedside table. The remark caused Marie to snuggle closer.
“Twelve hours; twelve glorious hours. Have we slept long?”
“I really could not say my dear. I have not looked before to see and my reason now was to ascertain if the breakfast room will be open; our evening repast was one that curbed a different appetite.”
both title and story are enigmas.. leaving much to the imagination…and questions too… first question being …‘are they married?’ what do you think?
