Geraldton Wax (Chamelaucium uncinatum)

Austin Dean

YOKINE, Australia

Artist's Description

Geraldton wax is a flowering plant endemic to Western Australia. It is an erect shrub 0.5 to 4m high, bearing white or pink flowers June-November. Looking somewhat uninspiring alongside our highways I am always amazed by the beauty of these tiny flowers when I take the time to have a close look.
