Looking for a last minute Christmas present?

I am selling my beloved IKELITE Underwater Housing for the CANON 5D. It has served me well over the last couple of year and helped creating shots like this:

Or this:

Approx. 60 dives logged

I guarantee that this housing is fully working if operated correctly!
I only sell it due to upgrade to CANON 5D MkII, which doesn’t fit.

Enquires welcome, BM if you need more info or feel free to forward this on to a keen 5D owner. Inspections welcome if you are heading to Ningaloo Reef any time soon.

Thanks for looking.

Ah damn! I was gonna ask if it fit the 5D MkII cause I would’ve definitely thought about it if it did. Glad I read your whole post.
    Good luck on the sale!

Jonathan, there is people out there who modified the housing to fit the MkII, but out of the box no, it is about 5mm (!) to small. There are a few buttons in the MkII in different locations as well so it is not an easy mod. You can ask google for the details.
I was very upset about at first but finally bought the new housing, of course now I have one I don’t need any more. Was going to keep it as a back-up but can’t, because I already have excess luggage anyway. :-)

What housing did you go with for your 5DmkII.. I’m looking for one for my camera..

Oh and good luck with the sale :)

Cheers Paul. I’ve bought another one from Ikelite. Never had any problems and could use my existing dome ports and strobes without modification.
