Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas) at Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia

When I am out to photograph these magnificent creatures of the ocean, I have a few dive spots were I know for sure that they will be there. Some have a rest on the ocean floor, some simply just plot along like this one here.

Equipment: CANON 5D, SIGMA 24-60 f2.8, IKELITE Housing, 2x IKELITE DS125 Strobes

I swam with a sea turtle on the Great Barrier Reef just off Townsville a few years ago… This photo takes me back to when I was right alongside him. Well done, a truly beautiful photograph. You have captured the turtle’s elegance perfectly.
