excellent capture ~ the light shining through makes these creatures so amazing and beautiful to see ~ but I still wouldn’t wish to swim with them! ;) xx

  • aabzimaging replied

Cheers Linda. These jellyfish lost pretty much all their stinging capability so it is quite save to swim with them.

i love the tone of blue here, it’s so fresh. the jellyfish gives a nice contrast to that color. the perspective is great as well as the repeating pattern it brings, specially the ones on the further back of the frame. never thought i’d see jellyfishes again. i haven’t seen one since i got stung by one in the ocean when i was a kid.

  • aabzimaging replied

Thanks so much for the comment Adrian. Those jellyfish don’t sting but it is still a bit weird to swim through them – jellyfish-soup, basically. ;-)

Beautiful work, I love the environment. I met a guy who is now a good friend of mine, one of Australia’s leading underwater photographers, Gary Bell, I am always inspired by his work as well. his website is oceanwideimages.com maybe you can take a look sometime.

  • aabzimaging replied

    Thanks a lot Tony.
