Impresive. I like the contrast of the little yellow pilot fish on the fin of the whale shark

Great pic Aabz. I swam with an 8 metre beauty at Ningaloo in April – indescribable! The pocket-sized happy-snap underwater camera I used got record shots, but couple with the less than gin-clear viz, meant the shots were pretty ordinary. So to see yours with such clarity is great. Beautiful portrait of a magnificent creature!

Very impressive. This shot has to be viewed at large, the thumbnail does it no justice. Fantastic!

aH maybe coral bay or exmouth??
aabzimaging replied
It is actually up in Exmouth. It was one of the first sharks of the last whale shark season (End of March 08) and the conditions where just perfect.

i reckon… i got a big 1 in cb this season in under 10metres of water and it still wasnt that clear… well done mate
