Frisky Fox

The fox is the smallest wild member of the dog family. Foxes are found throughout the Americas, Eurasia, and Africa. Most of the ten species of the genus to which the red fox belongs can adapt to diverse climates and habitats. The red fox is the most common species of fox.

If fox is your animal totem, you are probably very observant, while quite good at remaining unnoticed yourself. The fox can act as a guide to the unseen world that surrounds us. Because the fox is often most active during dawn and twilight, the “in between times,” and because the fox is often seen along the edges where forests and meadows meet, the “in between places,” it is thought that the fox can lead one into the realm of faeries and other spirits.

Lovely shot of this little fella. My great grandmother was Choctaw, so I guess we have something in common. :)
