All That Remains
In my youth, I was adored.
I bathed in the compliments showered upon me.
My vibrant colours drew thoughts undreamt,
And I was loved for my fragrant scent.
Now with age, I am abhorred.
I fade in the scorn glowered upon me.
My withered frame draws open contempt
And I am reviled as my life is spent.
