My Happy Place by A90Six
It’s not a beach in the Bahamas. It’s not the top of Mount Everest. It’s not a view of the beautiful land I call home.
It’s a small gravelled garden where I stood and felt happy with the world. It matters not to the general viewer the where or why, it just was!
It’s where I want to be, not for the garden, the walls or the door, but for how I felt at the time and the reason I felt that way, but the door beckons and will call me away to my responsibilities.
At times, I wish I could be more selfish!

Tony, I have an absolute fascination with images of doors and windows. I’ve wondered if it has to do with the subliminal … the mystery of what’s on the other side. I have recurring dreams of undiscovered rooms in my house … and the doors that lead to them. This particular image conjures up a mixed bag of sensations … and I admit to a tiny bit of envy about that wonderfully happy moment in your life. Envy and admiration that you can pinpoint that moment so precisely … so definitely. So often those moments of pure joy are elusive and soon vanish completely. The ability to hang onto one of them so concretely is a rare blessing!!!! A mysterious and thought-provoking image!!!
