Frampton Cottages
A couple of cottages in front of St. Mary’s Church in Frampton, Dorset, England. The south arcade to the nave and the chancel arch are 15th Century. The unusual tower with Tuscan columns, seen behind the cottages, was built in 1695 by Robert Browne, who also added the North Aisle and the Vestry between 1725 and 1734. The present structure is mostly of 19th Century restoration by Marcia Maria and Richard Brinsley Sheridan.
There are some wonderful Alms House further along the road, but by the time I got there the light was fading.
Another trip is on the cards for shots of the Alms Houses and the church exterior (and interior if I’m lucky).
