Oh wow, what a sight, what happened to the rest of it, fantabulous shot!!!

  • A90Six replied

Hi G! Much of the castle has fallen with time wind and cliff erosion. A lot can happen in 500 years. :) Tony.

This begs the obvious “If only walls could speak” Can you imagine the stories it would have to tell? Super work old buddy. Peter

  • A90Six replied

I can imagine, and I even know quite a few of the stories it would tell! Thanks Peter, Tony :)

This is such a dramatic location and you’ve really captured the essence of this rugged local by showing the layers of history, raging ocean and the distant farmland in one capture. Well done T. Cheers, 30 S.

  • A90Six replied

Thank you Sandra. I try to take things from every conceivable angle, and some inconceivable. You never know what wil raise your ruin until you try! 30T.

super work! how wild a day this was and you’ve caught it perfectly

  • A90Six replied

Thanks Simon. Ballybunion Bay has become a favourite with surfers in the last few years, but I think this may even have been a little excessive for them!

Now “I” want to go to Ballybunion…..............how fierce and romantic and wonderful!

  • A90Six replied

Thanks Leanna! The town boasts a world reknowned links golf course and many believe that’s all it has. I find so many other things around and about the area for more interesting, exciting and mysterious. I will, eventually, add more shots of Ballybunion to share more of it’s beauty with the bubblers.
                                            :) Tony.
