Wonderful work Tony. This MUST be HDR – do you know there is a group in here specially for work of this nature? is that mist, or smoke, or what that is partly hiding some of those chimneys? Peter

Hi Peter,

I spent two days in Wiltshire and it rained for 1.95 of them. This was taken during one of the brief dry spells on that wet and misty weekend.

I feel like I’m walking back through time in this image … in this street … one of my previous lives must have been spent right here …

Thanks Lois! This is in the town where the first ‘King of All Britain 924-939’, Athelstan 895-October 27 939 (grandson of Alfred the Great) was buried in 941. The place has much history.
