Excellent photo Ron. I saw – and photographed – this back in 1987 and it seems to have deteriorated quite a bit since then. It looks like it was a fairly mild day when you took this. Regards, Peter

Thanks mate…it sure is rusting away quickly now. This photo was taken about 2 years ago, it was a very calm day, a little overcast. I am planning to go back over there next September, so we shall see what she’s been up to then. Cheers =)

I can’t help but think of that movie “Planet of the Apes” towards the end of the movie. I know this isn’t the Statue of Liberty, but the feeling is right there. Good one!
