Artist’s statement:

Painting with light is my key to the secret garden which I explore over and over.

Photography started it. It frees my imagination and fills me with a sense of accomplishment and integrity. Through the lens I try to preserve my inner vision and freeze my emotions translated to the outher reality. I photograph from inside out.

My photography is a visual poetry with a touch of nostalgia.

I’m an internationally published self-taught artist. My art reflects me; my thoughts, my emotions, my life experience; and is essentially centered and inspired by my fascination of old things. I try to stimulate the viewers imagination by touching them through dramatic and poetic creations.

I create fine art photography, but I also have interest in street and photojournalistic photography.

Born in 1975 in Slovenia. My journey has so far taken me to live, study and work in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Poland, Canada and USA. I experienced war, I was a refugee and an immigrant. Now living and working in Piesendorf (Salzburger Land), Austria in the cca. 650 years old guesthouse with my soulmate, our son and our cat Tiger – who is a girl, by the way :-).
