Speedy

Photography is such a strong passion in my life….I feel driven to document my love for the natural world most of all due to its threats of change from the hand of man. I express this through my alpine snowgums and treebark series, rock patterns and outback Australia in all its forms. I have worked with transparency film, black and white, colour negative and infrared film over many years but have focused on digital imaging more recently. I have gained many awards in photography competitions, art prizes, magazines, and have sold much of my work through markets, my website, fairs and exhibitions, mostly here in Sydney, Australia. However my work is also in private collections in nine overseas countries.
Being involved with artists groups has added an extra dimension to my experiences. I also have many images with a web based image stock library. Giving back to the photography community has always been part of my journey, so I accept invitations to do presentations, judging and mentoring for photography clubs and organisations in Australia.
