I am a Dickens faery, a daughter of Fagin, a Womble, a Borrower and a little brown sparrow, wandering the world beyond the Wild Wood and picking up things from the road.
Taught the basics of photography in University, I have shed almost all formal knowledge I was given, choosing to explore the medium through my spirit instead. I use digital almost exclusively though I do have a pre-war 120 format that sulks on the bookcase.
My favourite colour is brown, my favourite music is bluegrass, i am fascinated by the layers of time and when not hovering over the shutter release, I make clothes and jewellery from the cast off items of those gone before. I like patchwork mended clothes and frayed edges. My world is tarnished, worn-out, run down and faded. Welcome in.
