Soxy Fleming

After years working in graphic design and advertising, music and theatre Soxy has found her true artistic home and family here on redbubble.

Soxy Fleming, has worked professionally in graphic design, advertising, theatre and music.
She now finds complete creative freedom away from the demands of professional settings defined by other people.

She is fueled by internet interaction with artists all over the planet and the technological advances which have now become everyday things. She is also inspired to juggle the ultra technological and modern with the wholly manual and primitive and has tackled many creative things including music in the form of singing, instrumental playing, performance, composition and recording, digital design, art and photography ( including photo manipulation, pinhole and alternative process photography and camera making) paper making and construction (including collage and book art) object making, writing and drawing.

Soxy finds inspiration and artistic companionship here on Redbubble and through this avenue has collaborated on artistic projects with people around the world.
Soxy has a particular interest in alternative process photography, work with paper negatives and long exposure portraits.

In 2009 she became the inaugural winner of the Blarney Biblio-art award with her three dimensional piece German Toast.
In April/May 2010 a recording of her original music was used in a continuous audio visual presentation as part of Andy Mercer’s month long exhibition in the Gallery of BBC Lancashire, Blackburn, UK.
