Simone Yvette is a Visual and Digital Artist/Commercial Photographer and Graphic Designer residing on Kangaroo Island, Australia.

Her preferred art mediums are: photography, painting (oils and acrylic on canvas and board), drawing and sketching (pencil and pen/ink), photo-collages and mixed media, textiles, and she will use any other visual art medium that she requires to express her artistic vision. She is just beginning to delve into Digital Art: digital painting, photo-manipulation, vector, and vexel work.

Simone attained her Bachelor of Visual Art in 1997, and has explored both her traditional and digital work since. Though not completed, she has also studied Primary and Middle School Education, Commercial Photography, Hospitality, and some Educational Psychology in search of the right career for her.

She is now happily raising her young son as a single mother living amongst an abundance of nature, and has discovered the world of art all over again. Over the last year, she has taught herself how to use Photoshop; is beginning to learn Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash; has produced her own art magazines in full for deviantART.com; and plans to learn more in hopes of a future career in Web and Graphic Design.
