first picked up a camera at the age of 6, and intermittently carried one around for the next 16 years or so. Then, put it aside to focus on a more “serious” career.
Once digital photography came along, photography became an affordable hobby again. Now, after about 13 years of enjoying myself in the digital realm, I’m finally moving into the professional realm.
Photography is about truth and beauty. Images must be true, not digitally created lies. They have to be beautiful in someone’s eyes, even if it’s only my own.
In most of these images, I celebrate the human body – particularly the female body. Nudity has so many negative connotations in our society, but these images, when taken, were taken in joy, in friendship, and in a spirit of mutual creation.
