I’ve been interested in Photography for about 40 years, starting with a fixed lens single speed camera when I was a boy. I loved experimenting with techniques, and on graduating to digital about seven years ago found it could be done on the computer in a much less smelly way ! I’m interested in beautiful pictures of any subject, though lately I have found composite photos illustrating abstract concepts to be the most challenging and perhaps the most satisfying to produce successfully.

I use Avalon as a user name, but I’ve got a bit fed up with it appearing as my name in the profile, and my wife doesn’t like Avalon either, so I’m now using my real name here! I think you still have to search for my pics using http://www.redbubble.com/people/Avalon though.
