Pixel-art classic Nikes from the 9th Design Regiment.
The Air Trainer 1 was released in 1987, during the era of the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Designed by Tinker Hatfield to be suitable for a wide range of sports, the shoe was immediately picked up by John McEnroe and a legend was born.
The low-res, 8-bit art of classic NES games has inspired this design, perfect for rocking with your Nike collection. The chequered background references the original tongue tag design and the chlorophyll highlights of the original colorway.
Grab a matching iPhone case and clothes to complete a killer fit.
The 9th Design Regiment will be launching more classic Air Jordan and classic Nike inspired art soon, but if you want to see any particular Air Jordan, Air Max, Air Force or other historic Nike shoe in this style, feel free to make a request.
