We had great weather this afternoon for the launch of STS 122. Atlantis took off at 2:45 p.m. from Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center Florida. We were worried about the weather cooperating but a cold front stalled for a few hours and allowed for the green light to launch. Beautiful launch. I am adding some pics to give everyone an idea of how boring a day at the rocket ranch can be lol. Enjoy.
