This shot was taken at The Classic Throttle shop in Sydney. They have some amazing cars in their showroom and, as I found out when I went to take some shots, they are very friendly, accomodating people – I didn’t even have to buy coffee there to take a look around.
This is a 300SL Roadster (or in other words – a Gullwing without the Gullwing). An amazing car sporting some amazing lines and figures for a car of its age. It is a true classic in anyone’s book and is almost as sought after as its hard roof sister.
Going of a cool AU $750000 if anyone’s interested :p.
Be warned for anyone interested in buying this – this shot has a small black border. It is plain black with no detail. It came about as I slightly rotated the photo but wanted to keep the original scale and overall size. I rather think it compliments the overall look.
Thankyou. I probably would have gotten another shot of the same style with the whole if I could get further back, but there was an immaculate Combi that I really didn’t want to touch, so this is the best I could come up with. I’m glad you like it.

Very cool image, like the closeness and crop.
