Fringe is/was one of my favourite shows of the last few years, and it’s sad to see it go. Walter Bishop, portrayed by John Noble, was the most compelling character on TV, equal parts sad, disturbing, erratic and just plain outright entertaining on a weekly basis for 5 seasons.

You are welcome! :) Really gonna miss that show…! :( Well, we have it all but now it’s over. The finale wasn’t “quite” what I’d have liked, but I’m glad they gave us closure in the Other universe. Long live Walter! What a guy. LOL!

  • Agree, will definitely miss it, probably more so than many shows in recent memory. Walter was just the best creation on tv, and not just for his quirks, but when necessary John Noble could really bring up his fears and disappointments in what Walter had done. And the finale was a good 2 hours of tv, obviously heavy on the action to paper over the many plot threads that had been left behind, but still good tv. Their biological attack on the Observer building was gruesomely brilliant :)

Agreed! I like to think they all remembered one another… (Then, I like to think no one died in Firefly and two billion Vulcans still live – on Vulcan. lol! And oh yeah, David Tennant’s still the Doctor in an alternate universe! I have nothing against Matt, but they could share the cosmos somehow… Seriously, Fringe was One of a Kind. In a lot of ways, I think they dared to go “where no one has gone before.” All hail milkshakes, LSD and cows!
