Elisabeth Ansley

I am a fine art photographer in Plymouth Minnesota. I was born in Portland, Oregon but by the time I was 13 we had lived in 17 homes in 3 states. My mother had the nomadic genes and also the creative soul. I grew up with a darkroom always set up in the largest bathroom in the house (so lots of searching for toilet paper under red lights). She bought me my first serious camera for my 8th birthday and I was hooked.

As an adult, I have lived on four different continents and traveled to 24 countries. All this life experience has had a profound effect on my art. I have an eye for the unusual and love to find the beauty and anything I photograph.
