Waitakere City, NEW ZEALAND

Hi, I’m Jess – I live in beautiful New Zealand but was born in Kenya and lived there for the first 10 years of my life. I have a love of all things nature – especially if the nature in question happens to have fur, feathers or scales!
I’ve been taking photographs for a fairly short time – got hooked playing with my fathers film SLR when I visited him in Scotland in early 2007. I came back and bought a Cannon EOS 400 DSLR, then started figuring out how to use it! Slowly getting the hang of it and finding there’s always so much more to learn, it’s great!
I wander around taking photos of just about anything that interests me, and occasionally get a decent shot :-P New Zealand is a great place for photography, it is a beautiful country so there are a lot of landscapes in here!
Hope you enjoy these, feel free to leave constructive criticism in your wake, it is very much welcomed. I’d love to do this as a living some day.
