Allosaurus lived during the Jurassic period around 140 million years ago.

Weighing in at around 2 tons these guys and gals were the largest carnivores of the period with razor sharp claws and teeth made for dealing with the large sauropods of the time.

To make matters worse they are thought to have hunted in packs making even the largest animals, like Diplodocus, potential meals.
