Monolophosaurus by

Monolophosaurus lived during the Jurassic period around 180 million years ago. Fossils have been found in the People’s Republic of China.

This was a carnivorous dinosaur that was about 2m high and nearly 6m long full grown. It had a crest along the top of the front part of the skull, and that is where it gets name from, Monolophosaurus meaning “single crested lizard”.
