Made with Photoshop paint brushes.
The smudge tool really pulled this piece to a finish.
You can tell by my line definition that I’m not going to make digital painting a career. But I’ve never done this before, so first I figured that I’d start with a simple outline, like the bass strings and my face shape, but otherwise, I just made it up as I went along. Because of that I messed up tons (I still didn’t get my skin color right, and I could’ve worked more on my hair) and it took two weeks to finish. ^ ^;
model: NS body, Professional Series, Legend 5 Custom
scale length: 35"
neck: 3pc Maple, Graphite Rod Reinforced, Set-Neck design
pickups: EMG-HZ passive dual coil humbuckers
It was so nicely finished in the factory that all that needed
adjusting was the truss rod, as the action was a bit low.
Good for slap bass, though.
