Detective Patfield by

2D Forever

Whilst creating a repeating pattern image for work purposes, I found myself inspired to do this. It’s not 100% accurately measured out, but it could pretty much repeat over and over – a man with a gun behind him, with a gun behind that man, etc etc.

Repeating images aside, I had a lot of fun making this. There are a few different ways you could look at it, so I’ll leave that bit up to you.

Totally inspired by fantastic old film noir – when trenchcoats weren’t just for flashers and insurance sales men always solved crimes… for some reason.

I like this. Shades of John Bracks.

  • Thank you for the kind words and for mentioning John Brack – I wasn’t aware of his works until now; he was a fantastic artist!
