When I went to Norfolk island I fell in love with the abandoned Georgian houses there. Chickens ave full roam of the place now and nobody owns them as nobody owns the lovely old homes there too.
They are the unworded treasures of the island.
To see them going about their business without a care in the world and blisfully unaware of the horrors of it’s violent past intrigued me.
It made them all the more gentle to me.
