Absolutely stunning Christine…I totally agree with Polly…very romantic feel to your image! Straight in the fav box!

  • Oh thank you so much, Marie! I took this shot weeks ago but never used it because the flower wasn’t in its prime. I’ve since decided, like us, a flower doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Many thanks for the fave, too.

Heavenly! But, would you believe Chrissy – I have just finished a single lavender spike! Just love this so much – the blue is perfect – so cool and collected – beautiful and relaxing. You have the eye my girl! x

  • This particular variety of lavender is new to me, the flower spikes are on extremely long stems and are so gracefully curved. I wasn’t thrilled with this shot because the flower head wasn’t in full bloom but decided to use it anyway as it is the only one I had. I haven’t taken my camera out into my garden as much as I should have this year.
Thank you dear Sue, you are so kind and you like my work, too. THAT puts a smile on my face ; )))

Wow i have always LOVED Lavendar… grew it for so many years…. i love how you do these monochrome color images Chris!!!! They are brilliant!!! but you knew that.. lol Just rack up another winner here GF. :))))xxxx

  • Isn’t lavender the most heavenly scented flower??? I love it, although some varieties don’t love our clay soil, I usually have a few clumps growing here and there. Thank you for the comment and fave, GF! Ok I’ve posted and image…done for another 2 weeks. Whew! That one just WORE ME OUT!!! LOL!!!
