    I think I am going to have to get rid of “cool previews” as it keeps exiting before I am finished my comment.. so annoying.. Okay, back to you.. the circle of life is so well portrayed in this image and you have given this dahlia bud a very nostalgic appeal and, for a little bud, that’s quite something and excellent work. Such creative use of tones, Christine, and once again your work provokes thought…. Well done, my friend.

  • Thank you dear Kat! I didn’t know much about dahlias until we went to the arboretum, I was more amazed by the buds then by the flowers. I thought they looked like little chinese lanterns or balloons. Glad you like it!
